Well Equinox is dun and dusted and I finished 30th out of 39 players, well my bad placing came down to a lack of generalship and bad match ups.

I had a all mounted WoC list, its a shame it looks great on paper but was just a large glass hammer on the battle field I also didn't get a lot of play testing. But I had some truly great games vs some really skilled players but this will be the last time I use WoC they just don't work inside the style I like to play but there are tournaments they are very appropriate(and look very nice).

Well after the dust settled I got back on the horse and built a Lizardmen list I was itching to play after my break from Lizards and thats what I did, My brother headed up for a weekend and then the long weekend after, He was using a list I wrote for him.

He had a Elf lord on Moon dragon with nasty kit.
2 Elf mages with kit and scrolls
2 x 10 archers
15 Spearelf's
16 Swordmasters
2 Light chariots
5 dragon princes
2 x bolt throwers
a Eagle

Its a very well balanced list with the tools to deal with most army's it can also play very heavy points denial with a good deployment, but suffers from being a jack of trades master on none If he loses one of his combat units unsupported its going to end rather nastily. But its also a list that should teach him how to deal with a lot of things with out committing to much.

So after about 8 games on the first weekend, and 3 the following I won 9 lost 1 and drew 1. It's like riding a bike after a long time, to easy!. And I'm looking forward to playing my lizardmen at Tin solders 3.
